Welcome to Berwick House

Supported residential services (SRS) are privately owned and operated businesses that provide accommodation to people who need support in everyday life, for example, people who are frail, aged or have a mental or physical disability.

Berwick House is a registered pension level SRS offering permanent accommodation and personal care for all aged clients with special needs. Located in Hallam, we are a family owned business established 1977, under new management since 2017. It is a place where retirement living offers many special features.

Day care services and short term respite or convalescent care is also available.

Residents have a choice of well-appointed rooms in our large, homely residence which is a warm and caring environment. Our delightful, tranquil garden is set on one acre.

We provide personal care and accommodation. Our qualified and dedicated staffs are on-call 24 hours a day, seven days a week to meet residents’ needs. Our residents benefit from visiting doctor and District Nursing Services. Pharmaceutical, also podiatry and hairdressing services are available.

We offer a wide range of social activities which are organised by our Activities Coordinator. The activities program incorporates enjoyable in-house entertainment, outings, various Church services, music activities etc Residents are encouraged to join activities with day centres such as Scott Street Dandenong, City of Casey and Doveton Community Centre.

We provide all meals; a fully-cooked breakfast is served on Sunday and a continental breakfast throughout the week. Our wide variety of nutritious home-style meals, are followed by light evening meals. We also serve morning and afternoon teas and a light evening supper. We also cater for those with special dietary needs when required.
